Welcome to Ripley County’s GIS
You will be viewing a work in progress. Because some of this information was built in-house and some was transferred from another office, you may find missing or inaccurate information. At the bottom of the information table, to the left side of the map, there is an item labeled “checked”. The word “no” means that the surveyor’s office has not reviewed the lines or checked the information; BUT if the word is “yes” the information and the lines should be relatively correct. The Ripley County Surveyor’s office works daily to improve the GIS information. If you need information and need our assistance, please call. We will be happy to help.

Sometimes the “State 18 digit number” is required on certain documents. The State’s Numbering System is a method of assigning numbers to particular areas of land, such as: the number 69 represents Ripley County. The State’s number can be found by combining the seven consecutive rows starting with, and including "(Co)" of the information box. This would be written :
(Co) – (Area) – (Sec)- (Block)-(Parcel)-(Split)-(Dist)
