Unapproved Commissioner's Meeting Minutes for 05/10/04
May 10, 2004
The Ripley County Board of
Commissioners met on
John Little, Commissioner President called the meeting to order promptly at 8:00AM with Commissioners Chuck Folz & Robert Reiners in attendance.
Mary Ann McCoy, Auditor of Ripley County acted as secretary for the board of commissioners.
Neil Comer was present to advise the Board on legal matters.
The Board signed the payroll check
register and claim register for
Commissioner Reiners made the
motion to approve the meeting minutes of
Gene Bishop, Maintenance updated the commissioners on the work being done on the Elevator and the Air Conditioning.
Andy Clark, Veterans Service Officer advised the commissioners that he would have his office closed on Monday due to being out of town.
Kelly Vollet, Technology
Coordinator advised the commissioners that the Ripley County Learning Network
Committee had met on
Tad Brinson, Planning Commission
presented the commissioners with an Ordinance to Amend the Unified Zoning
Ordinance for Ertel property (Part of the N.E. ¼ Section 16, Township 9 North,
Range 12 East.
John Graff, Howard Barth &
Associates, Inc. advised the commissioners that he would be starting on the
Bridge Inspection & Historical Bridges report for
Commissioner Reiners made a motion
to appoint Ralph Adams,
Bud Honnert, on behalf of Mary Rehberger appeared in front of the commissioners with concerns about closing an alley in Penntown. Honnert advised that Mary Rehberger currently owns the house where the alley is and would like for it to be closed. Honnert will need to consult an attorney for help to proceed with this action.
David McCree, questioned the
commissioners on what kind of grievance policy
Bill Davison, Ripley County Sheriff presented the commissioners with an update on the jail.
Commissioner Little signed the
grant agreement and receipt between
Commissioners Little/Reiners
signed the Maximus Agreement effective January 1, 2004 to provide monthly Title
IV-D claiming services on behalf of your Clerk’s Office and Prosecutor’s
Office. Maximus professional fees of
$1,600 for each set of monthly billing statement that is prepared for the
county submission to the state, for reimbursement of expenditures during FY 2004
and beyond for
Commissioner Reiners made the
motion to adjourn until the next meeting on
