Ripley County is currently under no Emergency Levels

 

 

 

 

Effective 02/18/10 at 12:00 Noon:

Ripley County was under a Level 1 Snow Emergency

 

The roadways are hazardous with accumulated debris, and/or blowing and drifting

snow.  Roads may be icy. Motorist should use caution while driving and limit travel.

 

 

 

Effective 02/16/10 11:00am to 02/18/10 Noon:

Ripley County was under a Level 2 Snow Emergency

 

Roadway conditions have become dangerous to routine traffic, with accumulated

debris and/or blowing and drifting snow. Icing may take place by means of freezing

rain, sleet, or packed snow. Only travel that is necessary should be attempted.

Employees should contact their employers to see if they should report to work.

 

 

Effective 02/15/10 5:30pm to 02/16/10 11:00am:

Ripley County was under a Level 3 Snow Emergency

 

All roadways are closed to all non-emergency traffic. Driving is prohibited unless it is

due to an emergency and should be limited to essential personnel only. Those

traveling on closed roadways for other than emergency or essential travel may be

subject to citation by law enforcement personnel.

Ripley County was under a Level 2 Snow Emergency
